Indeed. Our team thoroughly examined the legal and technological landscapes in the Russian Federation (RF) and the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK) prior to the launch of the project. We initiated the implementation of international Electronic Document Management (EDM) only after ensuring the project's legality. Below are concise references to the legislations that underpin our assurance of the legal validity of international EDM in both countries. These are brief references to laws that reinforce our conviction in the legal significance of international EDM in both states.

Residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK) are required to use standard electronic digital signatures issued by the National Certification Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NCC RK). For the residents of the Russian Federation (RF), it is recommended to use electronic signatures (ES) created in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, such as those issued by accredited certification centers in Russia.
For document exchange between residents of Kazakhstan and Russia, Kazakh residents can register on the IDOCS platform, while Russian residents should register with the Simpsign service, operated by "Convenient Signature".
An integration has been established between IDOCS and Simpsign to facilitate seamless International Electronic Document Management (MEDO) usage.

A certified certification centre (ACC) or a trusted third party (TTP) verifies a foreign electronic signature in both Kazakh and Russian. The TTP and the AUC have reached an agreement that outlines their respective jurisdictions with regard to foreign EP verification. A matching receipt, validating the ES for every party involved in the transaction, is given for every EP carried out via the TTP or AUC.
A Trusted Third Party (TPA) is an information system established to verify the authenticity of an Electronic Digital Signature (EDS) generated within the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as a foreign EDS in the context of international cooperation. The responsibilities of the TPA are executed by the authorized certification center "Gazinformservice" in compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
